Mama'S Home Florence

Mama's Home is a culinary dream! Just steps from L'Osteria di Giovanni, where the pasta will make your taste buds dance. The place is charming and cozy, with a lovely Superior Double Room that was just like a cloud. My host, Marzio, was a legend!

But, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. Access codes dropped late like they were playing hide-and-seek, and the reception vibe was a ghost town. It felt more like a glorified hostel than a hotel. Bring your earplugs for those noisy streets!

Beautiful accommodation with favourable setting near the river, all other main attractions and most important tourist destinations. Spotless rooms with comfortable bed. Helpful and cooperative stuffs, gave a few recommendations.

Mama's home was a perfect spot! Just a short walk from the train station and all main attractions. Our junior suite had a lovely view of the bridge, and the bathroom was really nicely done. There was a mini fridge with complimentary beverages, a nice touch.

The room was super cozy, and we especially loved unwinding in the rooftop garden and hanging out in the charming common area. The only downside was the Wi-Fi being a bit spotty, but it didn't ruin our overall experience 🌟

Comfortable Stay but Noisy Surroundings

The hotel provided comfortable house shoes to manage the dated tiled floor. The lobby scent was overwhelming, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. For future guests, consider requesting a quieter room away from street noise.

The location couldn't be better, close to all major sights in Florence. I appreciated the clean facilities and the surprises in the fridge. The mattress felt a bit hard for my liking.

The views from our room were amazing, overlooking the serene river as the sun set. We felt so pampered with complimentary prosecco and both still and sparkling water waiting for us! The location couldn't be more perfect, just a short stroll to all the sights, great to soak in the magic of the city after a day of exploring.

Fantastic Location and Amazing Staff!

I loved staying here! The location was perfect for exploring Florence, and the staff was helpful. Having a fridge stocked with Prosecco and cold drinks was a good bonus. Be aware that the street noise can get loud at night if you're a light sleeper.

The room was cozy and well-equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a comfy bed. I loved having a private bathroom; it felt just like home. It was such a relief to come back to a cool, relaxing space after a day of exploring Florence with the kids.

The lack of noise insulation was a bit bothersome, but others might enjoy the lively atmosphere.
